Me And My Traveling Friend, Home and Then on To Vancouver

Well, I am sorry for our adventure being over but glad to be going home. As you know I live in Lake Oswego, Oregon.  I have been traveling with a lady friend for about two months now. We first went to San Francisco, and then Sedona, we stayed for a month in each place. I had a side business trip from Sedona.  Now we are going home.  I will be glad to be back in my own space and living alone again. I love my friend but I love living alone too. Our next trip will be in about three months to Vancouver, B.C. This time we will not have a month to spend but only about a week so will have to plan to be able to see something besides the inside of a hotel room and some  restaurant.

Roxy, The: Most popular nightclub in town

If you want to go to the most popular nightclub in town, go to The Roxy. It's really busy every night, and packed to the rafters on Fridays on Saturdays. If you want to get in without waiting in a huge, long lineup (possibly for hours), get there before 9:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. Cover will run you about $10, and drinks will all be $5 or more. Everyone seems to go there, whether they're 19 years old up to 40. There is live music every night.

I have been here a couple of times in the last few years. So I can tell you about what to expect. It has cozy corners with deep couches to visit with a friend. I like this as it is not a noisey place and you can actually hear each other. 

I can recommend matcha latté.  It  was creamy and came unsweetened so it had lots of matcha flavour. It was mixed pretty well, no matcha bits at the bottom, just a matcha paste. The crumpet was warmed up nicely so the butter melted all over the crumpet holes. The jam added a sweet touch to the chewy crumpet.

I am not a skier but if they have a nice dog sled ride I would take it.  If not will put a fake cast on my leg, get a good book and sit by the fire and eat everything in sight.

Dogsledding

Maybe we will not get this all done in a week but it is fun to dream always can save what we do not get to do for next visit.
